Introducing Kathryn Grace Reames!

She joined our family yesterday at 7:44 AM. She weughed 6 pounds 8ounces and was 19 inches long. She is doing well and the doctors are letting us leave the hospital sometime today. I look forward to introducing you to her in person. She is a lovely baby and makes lots of cute faces. She also has a huge lower pouty lip which I'm sure she will try to use to her advantage with her Dad and big brothers...

Ride

It's nice to live on a quiet road where sled rides can occur right down the tire tracks. 

Cider time

Abel and Cyrus helped Grandpa make some cider. 

Dixie Stampede

Abel got face paint for the first time and the girl aptly chose to give him a beard. He was so impressed with himself while he brushed his teeth, he had to take a break and make some faces in the mirror. This morning when I washed the remnants off he said, "Bye beard."

Dow Gardens

Abel and Grandma were out the other day and picked me a bouquet. Abel regected the dandelion as NOT Dow Gardens.

Teacher

This was a happy sight I saw earlier this week. I heard Abel say, "Cyrus, see how works. Drill press."

He might not know proper English yet, but he is already teaching shop!
