Kitchen Cupboards

Just a couple days after we signed on our house, I found this set of cupboards at the Hatitat re-store. They have oak fronts and there are plenty for my kitchen.

The new drywall started going up in my kitchen on Saturday!!!!!!

Elisa and Amy spent a lot of time cleaning and priming the living room walls. The difference is fabulous!

Josh was excited to find boxes of treasures in our attic.

Here is a set of Bavarian China that was still wrapped up in the boxes. 

Energy

I received my first piece of mail in the mailbox at our new house. It was a gas and electric bill from Consumers Energy. Later on in the week, I went to Home Depot and purchased rolled insulation, styrofoam and plastic wrap for the windows. 

Amy came and taught me how to put up what she calls "Poor man's storm windows."
