Sunday

This was a quote I was inspired by in Jimmy's sermon on Sunday
It makes me think of the chorus that has become my prayer.
"Would you be poured out like wine upon the altar for me?
Would you be broken like bread to feed the hungry?"

Yes, by God's grace I will

Spring Fever

Different people in our family get spring fever at different times. Some of us end up painting tractors and selling them. Some of us have hot dog roasts. Some of us take machines and play in the mud.

Today was my turn. Although I don't claim to have the genetic mineral deficiency, I do like to have my rock garden in order. So today's spring fever episode went in that direction.

CRI

Our church recently had our annual CRI trip. We usually take a group down to Fowlerville, Michigan and volunteer for a day. Christian Resources International sends Bibles and other materials all around the world. They started out as a recycling center (actually sort of a hoarder) who got tired of seeing books and Bibles in the trash. Now his vision has turned into this place that sends cargo containers of Christian material to countries all around the world.

Sorting books.

4th Birthday Party

Joel and his family were here for the weekend. Sunday was Janessa's 4th birthday and and we all had a wonderful time celebrating together.
Uncle Logan playing with the girls.

Aunt Amy hosted with her new dishes.

Aunt Naomi made a butterfly cake.

It was so fun to celebrate with our little niece.
It sure has been handy that we get to share nieces and nephews with the Bylers.
Amy hosted all of us and the Bylers at the Cookie house for the birthday celebration.
