Praire Dogs

 Uncle Aaron helped the cousins dig some wonderful snowdrift tunnels! I thought they looked kinda like prairie dogs popping out.

Michael is starting to smile at more people now!

 

Lights

We put up some Christmas lights on our front tree. It is kind of fun to see the huge maple tree my Grandma planted behind her house and hope my little tree will be like that someday too.
 

Snow!

Snow accumulated the last few days and we have made the most of every opportunity! Please don't tell Kathryn that girls normally cry and run away when boys throw snow balls at their faces. She laughed and opened her mouth to catch them. Cyrus was a great sport too and allowed Kathryn to dump handfuls of snow on his head. This might be a really interesting winter!

 

1 month

 Michael made it past the 1 month mark. I put together a collage of each of our babies at this milestone.

Owl Family

 I've been needing more sit down time activities recently so I made some owl hats for the kids...they thought we should all have them, even the new coming baby. 

Baby mittens

I knit some baby mittens, booties and a hat for my new baby. Kathryn wanted them for her baby....so I guess we can have matching babies.

 

Tent Camping

 Naomi scheduled some destination vacation this week and we came for Friday and Saturday.

It was our first family state park tent trip and we all had a good time.

Strawberry pie

 I can't compete with my sisters in the kitchen, but fresh strawberry pie is great even if its made be me and my crew.

Day 1 was full strawberry pie.

Day 2 was chocolate pudding pie with strawberries just for accent.

Girl play

 When Kathryn plays, items of differing sizes often receive titles. These are the daddy and mommy watering cans.

Accessories

Kathryn loves to have accessories! Such a girl.

 

Independent

Josh's Grandma gave the kids a little cloth Mother Goose rhymes book for Christmas. Kathryn loves it and I found her sitting on the couch reading to herself today.

 

Put on the full armor of God

 

The boys have been memorizing the set of soldier verses. The recited them for Grandpa and Grandma this week.

Clearance Train

 I found this kit on the Christmas clearance rack for 90% off. The deal was too good to pass up. Kathryn was tickled beyond belief!
