Blueberry Waves

Today I finished another afghan. 

This one is going to be a Christmas gift for one of my residents. She and I share a favorite color: blue.

This was an easy pattern I made up. It wasn't supposed to be so big, but I started it in the airplane, so I couldn't really tell how big it was!

The pattern goes like this.
(working all stitches in back loop only)
chain in groups of 16 stitches

*double crochet in 5 stitches, 2 double crochet in each of next 2 stitches, double crochet in 5 stitches, double crochet next 2 together, double crochet next 2 together* repeat to end of line. continue this row until the piece measures the desired length.
